We are glad that you have signed up for Mathematical Biostatistics Bootcamp from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Coursera. Statistics is a key component of empirical investigations. As such, Biostatistics lies at the center of evaluating evidence in biomedical research. In this course we will cover basic probability and statistics at a level that requires only a modest amount of mathematical prerequisites. Students internalizing the information from this course will have a strong foundation to build on further courses in applied statistics.
The class will be offered starting September 24th 2012 and will last 7 weeks.
